Peanut Butter Granola

You know what looks good on everything? Black. And white too.

It’s the colour of my favourite t shirt. And the colour of my favourite socks.

[stop it with the red squiggly lines spellcheck. I can see that I spelled the words with a ‘u’]

You know what else it looks good on besides my body?

Underneath granola. Or any type of food actually. Except for black liqourice. You wouldn’t be able to see it then.

It doesn’t even taste good.

But you know where these clumps of crunchiness looks the best at?

In my mouth and in my belly.

The fact that it’s made in the microwave just makes everything better.

And apparently, on my palm.

 


Peanut Butter Granola

1/2 cup of oats (doesn’t matter what kind you use)

1 tbsp of creamy peanut butter, slightly melted

1 tbsp of maple syrup, or honey [if you don’t mind it not being vegan]

A dash of cinnamon

 

In a bowl, pour in the first three ingredients and start to mix with a spoon. As you stir you will notice that your temper has suddenly shorten as the oats start to annoyingly stick to the spoon. Never fear, for this is the moment where your fingers will need to do some work; start mixing with clean hands until everything is fully incorporated. Microwave that mixture in the bowl (trust me on this) for 1-2 minutes, in 30 second intervals stirring carefully each time. You will know that it is done when it becomes dry and clumpy. Leave it to cool, and then eat it however you want.
